English Records
As part of their role as National Governing Body for Snooker, EASB will revive the function of validating and certifying record-breaking performances made by any snooker player in England. For information on English Records Click Here

All claims for records will be considered on application and if verified will be compiled into a register, details of which will be published on the EASB website. The holder of an approved record will be entitled to a certificate which will be awarded free of charge if made during the course of an EASB tournament, or otherwise subject to an administration fee.

EASB will receive back-dated claims for any performance made after September 1995 when the rules were last substantially revised.

Categories of available certification will be as follows:

- Record certificates
- Notable Performances
- Certificates of Merit

Any claim for a record which cannot be verified due to lack of comparative data, would typically be considered for an award as a "Notable Performance," while certificates of Merit would be awarded for achievements, which, although known to have been equalled or surpassed by others, are nonetheless considered to be special

Also available will be a special award open to any Snooker League in England and the Channel Islands. This will allow Leagues to register breaks of 100 or over which have been made in their competitions, with the highest from the total entries receiving a special certificate. A similar certificate will be awarded to the League which records the highest number of century breaks from amongst its members. By special arrangement, breaks submitted by the Jersey Billiards & Snooker Association are also accepted.

All breaks submitted will be published on the EASB website, and the option will be available for the League to link from this register to their own website. This competition will be completely free to enter.
